International Women’s Day 2023 – Empowering Women to Join the Construction Industry

With International Women’s Day coming up on the 8th March, All Done Group would like to show its support and use this opportunity to showcase the importance of increasing equality and diversity within the construction trade to enable women to feel welcomed and in-turn, thrive in the industry.

International Women’s Day is a celebration of females across the world, bringing attention to equality and the female rights movement. All Done Group recognises the lack of diversity within the construction trade and is committed to encouraging more women to pursue careers within a male dominated industry.

According to House Grail “only 13% of construction firms are owned by women and only 16% of senior positions are held by women”. Furthermore, women only make up 1% of skilled tradespeople within the UK.

Women can help to drive change in the construction industry and open up new ideas and perspectives, therefore it is important that trade roles are welcoming more female employees. All Done Group is a strong advocate for women in construction and believes that construction roles should be advertised and open equally to all genders.

All Done Group is working towards a more gender diverse team and continues to encourage and support women in the construction industry.
