As the year of 2022 comes to an end, we are taking the opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months and remind ourselves of what a fantastic year we have had at All Done Design. Our team has worked on some beautiful home renovation projects across North London and we’ve had lots of exciting opportunities to showcase our business and passion across multiple famous media outlets.
This year, our expert team has completed over 15 projects including full home renovations, kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, extensions, creating a flexible live/work space and even garden transformations.
Throughout the year, you may have spotted us in the press. We started the year on a high having our North London refurbishment project featured in the Evening Standard. In April, our Managing Director, Charlie Avara, was interviewed by the Property Editor of The Times on how to reduce costs when doing a home renovation – something we know lots of people want to know when doing their own property works.
As the year progressed, Charlie’s expertise continued to be called upon by well-known media outlets as she shared top home renovation times with Daily Express, Woman & Home, iPaper, Ideal Home and House Beautiful.
It has also been a brilliant year for women in construction and we are so proud to be a female-led business. Charlie is a strong advocate for nurturing female talent within the construction industry and her passion has led her to some fantastic achievements this year including features in Property Investor Magazine and March8. When International Women’s Day arrived in March, Charlie was featured in PBC Today discussing how to break the bias of construction being a male-led industry, read the feature here: International Women’s Day: Why we need to nurture construction talent (pbctoday.co.uk).
However, the success didn’t stop there for Charlie as she was recognised by the SME Business Awards and announced as a finalist for Business Woman of the Year and London Construction Awards for the Women in Construction category. Becoming a finalist in these awards was a huge achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition for Charlie and her dedication to All Done Design, and the sector as a whole. In November, she also attended the London Build ‘Diversity in Construction’ event as a Women in Construction ambassador, representing females within the industry across the UK and encouraging greater levels of diversity within the trade.
It certainly has been a year to be proud of and we are grateful to say that we already have some exciting projects lined up for 2023 that we can’t wait to get stuck into. Follow us on social media to see some of the fantastic projects that we have worked on throughout 2022 and stay tuned to see what we get up to in the new year.
